Yercaud Lake, also called Emerald Lake, is the only naturally formed lake among all hill stations in Tamil Nadu. Located at the heart of the Yercaud hill station at an altitude of 1,515 meters, it is surrounded by green hills, a floating fountain and a well-maintained garden.
